Be sure to click on the Discovery Institute’s latest report on their webpage, http://www.discovery.org. DI’s report reveals even more damning information that has come to light through open records requests that have obtained emails exchanged among the astronomy and physics department. I am appalled by the secretive, conspiratorial, and deceptive nature of their deliberations about Guillermo behind his back. Way to exhibit academic and personal integrity guys–ever thought about having the testicular fortitude to simply express what you think to Guillermo, rather than trashing him behind your backs? Wow, this is depressing.

Thanks Tony! Yes, those emails are appalling! We should pray for Gonzales, as the Iowa State Board of Regents meeting is today! Hopefully they will allow these emails to be included in the evidence for his case, though this seems doubtful!

“Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:2

Clint & Tony, I couldn’t agree more. It’s an appalling situation.
Daniel, 2 Cor. 4:2 is, of course, a great text–but I don’t think the faculty/administration at ISU consider themselves included in the “we.”

Yeah, I just used that text to show what they are doing is wrong.
